Quality Consignment For Goffs Land Rover Sale
Following a terrific season for Killeen Glebe graduates on the track, we are looking forward to offering a quality draft of four at the Goffs Land Rover Sale. We kick off with Lot 34, a son of top-class French sire Buck’s Boum, whose progeny includes Al Boum Photo and Dynamite Dollars. The bay is also a half-brother to a black-type hurdler and out of a black-type mare. Update: Half-brother Travail d’Orfevre is now a winner over hurdles in UK for Nick Alexander.
Lot 55 is a strong bay by exciting young sire Hillstar, whose first five runners produced four winners, including this gelding’s full-brother Another Choice. Placed on his first two starts, Matthew Smith’s charge won a Cork bumper in commanding fashion and (Update) recently finished second on hurdle debut at Punchestown. He hails from a family of talented chasers, including Grade 1 winner Lord Of The River.
Lot 84 is by sire of the moment Blue Bresil, whose rise through the stallion ranks is led by Constitution Hill and Blue Lord. This handsome bay is out of a full-sister to dual Graded winner Askanna, herself the dam of Killeen Glebe’s Grade 1 winning graduate Minella Cocooner.
Our final offering at Goffs is Lot 471, an imposing bay from the first crop of Irish Derby victor Jack Hobbs. His sire is by Halling, whose NH performers include Thomas Hobson, Deep Purple and Zabana. Our gelding is also a grandson of a black-type hurdler and hails from the family of Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Another Dolly.
