KYNTARA PROVES A CLASS ABOVE IN BUMPER
Killeen Glebe graduate KYNTARA could not have been more impressive when running out a clear winner of a Warwick bumper on his first start for Kim Bailey.
An easy eight length winner of a point-to-point maiden at Bishops Court last October, the bay was sold privately by Melanie Rowley to Kim Bailey and Lady Dulverton. Dropping down to two miles on return, he made all under David Bass and began to extend his advantage from three furlongs out. Running on well in the final furlong, he won by 17 lengths with ease.
The son of Kayf Tara was sold by Killeen Glebe through Limekiln Stud at the Derby Sale, where he fetched €30,000 from David Minton of Highflyer Bloodstock.
