CLONBURY BRIDGE provided connections with a day to remember when recording his second win over hurdles at the Galway Festival.

Successful at Limerick in May, the Dempsey-trained gelding dropped back to two miles at Galway and was ridden to track the leaders by Luke Dempsey. Improving to lead after four out, he went clear from the second last and kept on strongly on the run-in tp score by two and a quarter lengths.

Clonbury Bridge was sold by Limekiln Stud on behalf of Killeen Glebe at the Goffs Land Rover Sale, having been sourced in tandem with Kevin Ross as a yearling.
