GROOVY BLUE MAKES ALL FOR BUMPER WIN
Groovy Blue produced a smart performance on his first start for Ben Pauling to win Thursday’s bumper at Fontwell.
The bay led from flag-fall under Ben Jones and was ridden approaching the final furlong. He kept on well to beat the favourite , a previous winner, by two and a half lengths, with another eight lengths back to the third.
Groovy Blue was sold by Killeen Glebe to Gerry Hogan at the Goffs Land Rover Sale and he is now owned by Don Donoghue and Hilary Pridham. The son of Blue Bresil was bought by Killeen Glebe with Kevin Ross Bloodstock as a foal.
